IADL

IADL is an abbreviation for Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, and refers to life skills that require a higher level of social and cultural background than activities of daily living (ADL).
For example, household chores, shopping, using public institutions such as banks and post offices, and using means of communication. The IADL is used to assess the degree of independence of the elderly. If you have an IADL disorder, it will be difficult for you to live independently.
