Care prevention

Long-term care prevention is the maintenance and improvement of physical function, health maintenance, and promotion of social participation for people who are in the stage before they need long-term care, such as the elderly and the disabled. It is an initiative to lead a healthy life.
Specifically, a multifaceted approach is required, including exercise, nutrition, prevention of dementia, and improvement of the living environment. As the burden of nursing care increases in an aging society, preventive care is expected to reduce the burden on society as a whole by reducing the number of people who need nursing care.In addition, long-term care prevention aims to enable the elderly and disabled to acquire the ability to control their own lives and lead independent lives.
