Sputum suction
Sputum aspiration is a medical procedure that removes sputum accumulated in the bronchi and lungs using an aspirator.
A health care worker inserts the tip of the suction device into the bronchi or lungs and applies suction to draw out the phlegm.However, it may be done under certain conditions by specially trained caregivers.
