Normalization

Normalization in social welfare means enabling people with disabilities, the elderly, and those with special needs such as illnesses to lead independent lives in a general social environment as much as possible. That's the idea we're aiming for.In other words, we aim to support people with special needs so that they can enjoy their rights and live based on self-determination as ordinary members of society.
For example, creating a barrier-free environment and ensuring access at workplaces and schools.Normalization aims to prevent people with disabilities and the elderly from being isolated from society, and it is said that comprehensive support from society as a whole is necessary.
